2월 27일, 네덜란드에서 첫 확진자가 나왔고 3월 15일, 전국적인 락다운이 시작됐다. 학교를 포함해 ‘필수 업종’을 제외한 곳이 모두 문을 닫았고, 장을 보는 것이 유일한 외출이 되었다. 당시를 통과하던 수많은 이들처럼 온종일 새로고침하며 확진, 입원, 죽음을 세는 숫자를 확인했다. 1월 20일에 첫 확진자가 나온 한국은 이미 수백 명의 확진자에 번호를 붙이며 동선을 공개하고 있었다.
